This is an excellent opportunity for someone with council tax experience to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced finance function.The RoleWorking within the P2P team, you will take ownership of finance activities relating to council tax, supporting the accurate processing, reconciliation, and management of related costs and liabilities. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience in council tax processes, either within a property, housing, or real estate environment or from a local authority setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing and managing council tax-related invoices and paymentsReconciling council tax accounts and resolving discrepanciesLiaising with local authorities to manage queries, updates, and disputesEnsuring accurate coding and posting of transactions within finance systemsSupporting tracking and reporting of council tax liabilitiesAssisting with wider Procure and Control processes as requiredMaintaining strong financial controls and audit-ready documentationAbout YouExperience working within a finance functionEssential: Council tax experience, gained either: Within property development / housing / real estate, ..... full job details .....
