Temporary role - initially for 2 months
40 hours per week - 3 days in the Godalming office, and 2 working from home
-15 - -17ph + holiday pay + pension (rate depending on experience)
Our client, who are an International provider of services to their varied client base, are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant, to support the FD with a range of AP and AR duties. This is an interim role, initially for 2 months, to work on a backlog of duties, and to support the small, and friendly finance team, with a number of transactional finance roles.
This role is ideally suited to candidates who have covered both AP and AR duties and be able to hit the ground running.
Ideally you will be immediately available, and must be a UK resident, with recent UK transactional finance experience.
The successful Finance Assistant will undertake a variety of duties, that will include:
- Mainly an Accounts Payable role, taking responsibility for the AP in-box, and handling queries
- Processing of invoices
- Responsible for setting up new suppliers
- Handling all AP queries as well as payment runs weekly
- Also handling a backlog of invoice processing, due to a recent new system implementation
- Also some AR, Accounts Receivable duties, supporting the AR specialist with chasing of overdue debt when needed
- Ad-hoc finance duties, and also working with the Management Accountant
This Finance Assistant position role, based in Godalming, requires an individual to be able to work quickly, with attention to detail, whilst being supported by a super friendly, and hard-working team. Ideally you will have worked in a similar transactional finance role, and be able to offer a few years of similar experience - from working in a small finance team, with UK experience.
Our client is based within easy reach of all public transport routes and also offer modern offices and plenty of free parking.
Initially this role is for 2 months, with a potential for extension, subject to workloads.
