My client are a growing technology business who are looking for someone with a good understanding of Sage Accounts to support their collaborative team on a 3 month temporary contract in a Finance Assistant role. The business is based in Royston they need someone who can support them will all aspects of accounting including the following; - Accounts payable duties- Prepare reports and presentations as required by management - Assistant with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking to ensure nominal postings are correct- Using Sage Accounting Plus - Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking and ensuring nominal postings are correctAbout you- Proficiency in Sage Accounting Plus software- Experience with nominal ledger, journal entries, profit and loss and balance sheet- Strong organisational and communication skills- Experience in supporting small businesses is a plus- Knowledge of dealing with foreign currency is a plus The hourly rate for this position will be £15.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience.I''m looking for someone who can commit to being in the office 5 days per week but my client is keen to consider someone who would like school hours to achieve a great work/life balance.
