Finance Assistant

Alexander Lloyd are currently supporting a growing business based in Brighton who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be available immediately or on a 1 week notice period. The role:Managing credit control activities - chasing outstanding payments and managing customer accountsProcessing invoices, payments, and reconciliationsSupporting month-end processes and reportingHandling any finance-related queries from clients or suppliersAssisting with general finance admin and supporting the wider finance team as needed What we''re looking for:Previous experience in a finance assistant or credit control roleStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsConfident communicator - able to build strong relationships with customers and internal teamsProactive and able to manage your own workloadComfortable working in an office-based role full-time for the duration of the contract The offer:Salary up to 27,000 (pro rata for the 6 month FTC)Full office-based role in BrightonFriendly and supportive finance teamGreat opportunity to gain valuable experience within a growing businessIf you''re immediately available or coming to the end of your current contract and would like to find out more, please get in touch.
