This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day accounting and payment activities of a multi-entity, cross-border business. Working remotely with colleagues in both the UK and US, the Finance Assistant will provide key support with bookkeeping, month-end management accounts, reconciliations and payment processing. The successful candidate will be based in the UK and must be comfortable collaborating with US colleagues, payment providers and banking partners across different time zones. Key responsibilities Support the preparation of monthly management accounts for the UK and US entities, including the preparation of supporting schedules. Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing accruals, prepayments and routine accounting journals for review. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Xero, including posting invoices, payments and other transactions.
