Finance Officer Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 depending on experienceLocation: DenbighWorking Hours: Full-time, office basedAnnual Leave: 28 days, increasing to 33 days with service, plus an additional 1.5 days in DecemberBenefits: Free on-site parking, annual salary reviews, training and development, paid sickness, refreshments and fully paid company social events About the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join a successful and growing organisation based in Denbigh. Working as part of a small finance team, you will take ownership of management accounting and key finance processes across a multi-company group. This is a varied, hands-on position covering management accounts, month-end reporting, banking, cash flow, sales ledger, payment runs, financial controls and analysis. The role would suit an experienced Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant, Senior Accounts Assistant or Management Accounts professional who enjoys taking ownership of their workload and is confident working with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts information and supporting schedules across multiple group companies. Complete month-end reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments. Review financial performance against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, investigating and explaining key variances. Prepare and maintain short-term cash-flow forecasts.
