Finance Assistant

A growing business in Northwich is looking to strengthen its finance function with the addition of a capable Finance Assistant.Working closely with the Finance Manager, you''ll be trusted with key processes that keep the finance operation running accurately and efficiently. It''s a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to connect the dots across multiple entities really matters.The RoleYou''ll play an integral part in the day-to-day finance operations while supporting the monthly close process. Responsibilities will include:Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accrals, prepayments, and analysisManaging intercompany recharges and reconciling balances across group entitiesCompleting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsProducing sales and performance reports to support decision-makingOverseeing purchase ledger activities, from invoice processing through to payment runsManaging credit control, maintaining strong customer relationships while reducing aged debtPosting and reconciling daily bank transactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date cash visibilityAbout YouYou''ll already have a solid grounding in finance and be looking for a role where you can build on that experience:Around 2+ years'' experience in a finance or accounts-based roleAAT qualified or actively studying (Level 3 or above preferred)Exposure to month-end processes and working deadlinesExperience within a ..... full job details .....
