Your new company This exciting new business based in Billingham are looking for a dynamic and proactive Finance Assistant to join the team. This is a brand-new role, offering the unique opportunity to shape and implement new systems and processes from the ground up. Your new role Key Responsibilities:System Implementation:Develop and implement new financial systems and processes to streamline operations.Bank Reconciliations:Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.Sales Invoicing:Manage the sales invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing.Cash Flow Forecasting:Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.Purchase Ledger:Oversee the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and managing supplier payments.Credit Control:Monitor and manage credit control processes to ensure timely collection of receivables.Payroll Administration:Administer a small monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.What you''ll need to succeed Proven experience in a similar finance role.Proficiency in using XERO accounts package.Strong understanding of financial processes and systems.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.What you''ll get in return Competitive salary and benefits package.Potential to work from home 1 day per weekMonday to ..... full job details .....
