Band 3 Financial Assessment Team Officer Location: McAvoy House, Newry Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour Contract Type: Temporary (3-6 months) Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday About the Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Band 3 Financial Assessment Team Officers to join a busy finance team based in McAvoy House, Newry. These temporary roles offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a public sector environment. The successful candidates will support the Financial Assessments Team in delivering accurate and efficient financial assessment services, contributing to income generation and financial administration across the Trust. Key Responsibilities Service Delivery Provide administrative support in preparing and calculating financial assessments, including drafting correspondence, performing routine calculations, and maintaining case files Assist with income recovery processes, including calculating charges, generating invoices, issuing reminder notices, and resolving queries Accurately input financial transactions into systems such as e-Financials in line with Trust policies and procedures Process and record payments, including cash, cheques, and electronic transfers Support lodgement preparation by reconciling receipts and verifying amounts Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper coding within financial systems and General Ledger Assist with appointeeship duties, including benefit management, payments, and ..... full job details .....
