Finance and Operations Manager
Finance and Operations Manager Our client, a well-established international trading business, is seeking to hire a capable and versatile Finance and Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of the company. This is a broad and varied role within a small office environment,where the successful candidate will take responsibility for the company''s financial management while also assisting with general operational and administrative matters. The role has developed due to two (one of which is part time) long-standing members of staff gradually reducing their involvement in the business over the coming years. As such, the client is looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the finance function while also supporting the wider running of the office. Key Responsibilities: Finance and Accounting Managing the company''s day-to-day financial operations Preparing accounts and assisting with year-end processes Handling company payments and monitoring cash flow Preparing and submitting tax returns where appropriate Liaising with external accountants and advisers Managing bookkeeping and financial records Producing financial reports for the directors Operations and Administration Supporting the directors with administrative and organisational matters Assisting with general office administration and documentation Coordinating with suppliers, service providers and professional advisers Managing company records and filing systems Helping ensure the smooth ..... full job details .....
