This is a key role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the school''s operational success and ensure compliance with financial and HR procedures.Working closely with the School Business Manager and senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for a range of finance and personnel tasks, helping to ensure the school runs efficiently and effectively.This is a temporary position starting in August on a part time basis with the role going full time in September. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.Your new role Assist in developing and implementing financial procedures, including processing purchase orders, invoices, banking transactions, and accounting entriesPerform monthly reconciliations and support ongoing financial monitoring and reportingContribute to the preparation and submission of monthly, annual, and statutory financial returns (e.g. VAT)Support HR functions such as safer recruitment checks, absence tracking, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date staff recordsHelp manage wider resource systems (e.g. catering), including data collection and reportingSupport procurement activities and ..... full job details .....
