Our client is paying up to -50,000 for the successful Finance Analyst which is dependent on experience. They can also offer study support if you are studying towards an accounting qualification.

Description

• Analyse operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure financial data is accurate and well-documented.
• Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• Experience in financial analysis, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• A relevant qualification or working towards one (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or be qualified by experience.
• Able to commute to their offices in Burton-on-Trent.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
