Finance Analyst/ Management Accountant

Your new company Your new company is a leader in their field based in Stoke-on-Trent and is looking for a qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant/ Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Your new role Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership. Assist with the production and review of financial results across multiple business units. Deliver regular profitability, revenue and cost analysis to support decision-making. Produce monthly reporting packs, dashboards and key performance indicators. Support the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts. Lead the year-end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors. Coordinate information required for corporate tax compliance and liaise with external advisors where required. Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and working capital reports. Monitor debtor performance and provide analysis on outstanding balances. Produce accurate and timely financial reports for senior stakeholders. Manage month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Oversee banking activities, cash management and treasury processes. Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and recharges.
