Finance Analyst

A growing manufacturing business is seeking a Finance Analyst to support performance reporting, cost analysis, and financial planning across its operations. This is a commercially focused role offering strong exposure to operational stakeholders and senior management.The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will play a key role in analysing production costs, monitoring margin performance, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The position requires strong analytical capability and the confidence to work closely with operational teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysisAnalyse production costs, labour efficiency, and overhead absorptionMonitor inventory movements, stock valuation, and cost of goods soldAssist with budgeting and forecasting across manufacturing sitesProvide margin analysis and identify cost-saving opportunitiesMaintain financial models and reporting toolsSupport balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processesPartner with operations to improve financial visibility and performance trackingCandidate ProfileACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified or finalistExperience within manufacturing, production, or a cost-focused environmentStrong understanding of cost accounting and inventory principlesAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilityCommercially minded with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholdersDetail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced ..... full job details .....
