Finance Analyst - 3425 (3)

Talentmark are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid, based in Basingstoke (3 days onsite). There is potential for extension.

Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. They focus on finding answers for some of the world''s most urgent medical needs.

Salary:
-21.37 to -27.16 per hour PAYE, depending upon experience.

Finance Analyst Role:

• Support the yearly business plan and the regular forecasts.
• Look after forecast models and track how accurate they are.
• Prepare month-end reports and comments in line with accounting policies.
• Work with budget owners to explain spend, variances and forecast accuracy.
• Work with teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain and HR. Give them clear financial advice.
• Use Claude and tools like Power Query to speed up analysis and automate repetitive tasks.

Your Background:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject.
• Previous experience in FP&A, finance, accounting or a similar business role.
• Strong analytical skills. You can turn financial data into useful insights.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills. Power Query, Power BI, VBA or Python is a plus.
• Able to explain finance clearly to non-finance colleagues. Experience with generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.
