Job Description

Role: Finance Administrator

Salary: -25,000 - -27,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Location: Convenient city centre location

Main Purpose of the Role:
To assist the Client Finance Manager and the wider management team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, and ensuring that all activities comply with internal controls and relevant regulatory requirements. This role contributes to the smooth and efficient running of our client''s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and process invoices and expense claims
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
  • Support payroll processing and VAT submissions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required

What We''re Looking For:

  • AAT qualified (or studying towards AAT) preferred
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Office
  • Strong excel knowledge
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
