Finance Administrator
Full-Time | Permanent | £25,000 per annum
An established and growing engineering services business is seeking a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to join its friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous office administration and finance experience who enjoys working in a varied role and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy business.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input sales and purchase ledger information into accounting software (Xero).
- Chase outstanding customer debts in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of quotations and sales invoices.
- Organise and process supplier invoice payments.
- Reconcile purchase ledger statements on a regular basis.
- Complete general administrative duties, including filing and record management.
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Input servicing and maintenance information into company reporting systems.
- Contact customers to arrange annual servicing appointments.
- Maintain supplier records and update pricing information as required.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous office administration experience (essential).
- Experience using Xero accounting software.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A reliable and punctual approach to work.
