Finance Administrator

Our client is a well-established regional construction firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join their team. This role is a permanent role but we will also consider candidates who want to start on a temporary or fixed term contract with a view to being permanent. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation and processing of invoices and payments. Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records. Reconcile accounts and track project expenses. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting. Handle queries from clients and suppliers regarding financial transactions. Support with weekly payroll. Provide administrative support to the finance department as required. Skills and Experience: A basic understanding of finance and accounting principles (education in accounting/finance is a plus). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SAGE 50 is a bonus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience working in a finance based role is ideal but not essential.
