Finance Administrator

Working within a finance team of approximately 20 people, you will support the Sales Receivables function and play a key role in ensuring customer accounts and invoicing processes are managed accurately and efficiently.This is a varied role combining finance administration, customer liaison and problem-solving responsibilities.Your responsibilities will include:

• Raising and receipting purchase orders
• Processing sales invoices and credit notes
• Liaising with customers and suppliers
• Investigating shortages, overages and debit note queries
• Resolving ledger and account discrepancies
• Supporting internal stock and equipment reconciliations
• Working closely with operational departments, including dispatch
• Maintaining accurate financial records and systems
• Financial data entry and reporting support
• General finance and administrative duties as required

What you''ll need to succeed

• Previous experience within a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Credit Control or Accounts Receivable position
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

• Accounts Receivable experience
• Sales Ledger experience
• Finance Administration experience
• Credit Control experience
• Experience within manufacturing, production or distribution environments
