Duration: 1 monthType: TemporaryWe are looking for a highly experienced International VAT and Financial Reconciliation Specialist to provide short-term support to a Finance team within a luxury business in Aldershot on a one-month temporary assignment. This is a specialist role requiring strong experience of VAT across multiple European jurisdictions, alongside a proven background in detailed financial and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be responsible for investigating complex discrepancies, identifying the underlying causes and ensuring reconciliation work is accurate, clearly documented and fully supported.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete detailed VAT control account reconciliations across the UK, Netherlands, Germany and SwitzerlandReconcile VAT control accounts against VAT returns, accounting records and supporting documentationInvestigate discrepancies and historical reconciling items, identifying the underlying causesWork with Finance teams and external advisers to resolve VAT-related issues where requiredComplete detailed stock reconciliations, including Work in Progress (WIP) and delivered stockReconcile stock balances against fulfilment, delivery, invoicing and General Ledger informationInvestigate unusual or outstanding stock balances and identify required correctionsAnalyse high volumes of financial data and identify incorrect or unusual transactionsPrepare clear and fully supported reconciliation schedulesIdentify accounting adjustments and provide ..... full job details .....
