New Job Opportunity - Finance Contractor - 3 Month Temp Contract PAYE - Based Chiswick, LondonLocation: London, ChiswickContract: 3 Months TempRate: negotiable dependent on experienceHybrid: 3 days office, 2 days homeJob PurposeTo play an active role within the Group Finance team, delivering high-quality monthly, half-year, and year-end consolidated financial results, alongside detailed financial analysis and reconciliations.Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports in line with group guidelines, policies, and accounting standardsProvide insightful analysis of actual results, highlighting key variances and trendsCalculate and post consolidation journals within the consolidation systemSupport finance teams with technical accounting queries and ensure timely, accurate monthly closeAdminister the financial consolidation system (Cognos Controller) and manage close activitiesProvide guidance on technical accounting matters, including preparing papers for the Audit CommitteeCoordinate and prepare half-year and year-end financial statements and disclosuresLiaise with external auditors to support interim and year-end audit processesCoordinate the Group s global statutory accounts processSupport corporate projects (e.g. intra-group dividends, balance sheet reorganisations)Assist with monthly performance reporting as requiredConduct analysis on one-off or ad hoc business transactionsContribute to group-wide finance projects Qualifications and Experience ..... full job details .....
