Location: Birmingham | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Overview If you''re a part-qualified accountant who enjoys understanding what sits behind the numbers, this could be a good next step. The role sits within an established FPandA function and gives you the chance to work closely with operational teams, helping them understand their financial performance and using that information to support better decisions. At its core, the role combines FPandA, financial analysis and operational business partnering. You''ll support the budgeting and forecasting process, review site-level PandL performance, analyse revenue and costs, investigate variances and produce management information for senior stakeholders. You''ll also work directly with operational teams, helping them understand their results and providing insight into the factors driving performance. The role is varied, with a mixture of recurring reporting and forward-looking analysis. Alongside the regular FPandA cycle, you''ll get involved in ad hoc commercial analysis and projects where the business needs a deeper understanding of performance. It''s a position where you''ll spend time both analysing the numbers and discussing them with the people responsible for delivering the results...
