Field Service Technician
I am recruiting for my client, a global technology business specialising in the installation, maintenance and support of specialist equipment. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit a Field Service Technician to support customers across in the St Neots, Cambridgeshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical or engineering background who enjoys fault finding problem solving and working independently. Full product training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity to build a career within a specialist technology sector.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites across your designated region carrying out inspections, servicing, fault finding and repairs on specialist equipment.
- Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Ensure equipment remains operational and meets customer expectations.
- Manage your own workload whilst working independently.
- Complete service reports and associated documentation.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the business professionally at all times.
Field Service Technician Requirements.
- Technical or engineering background with basic electrical fault finding experience.
- Practical approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Keen to learn new products and technologies.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexible approach to regional travel.
