Field Service Specialist

Location: Dorset with extensive UK and international travel Salary: Dependent on experience plus travel allowances Job Type: Full time, permanent The Opportunity A growing engineering business is looking for a Field Service Engineers to join its team, working on specialist process equipment and industrial control systems across the UK and internationally. This is a varied role combining hands-on engineering, commissioning, fault finding and customer interaction. Candidates with a background in electrical, mechanical or control systems engineering will be considered, with full training provided to develop your skills across the wider equipment and systems. You''ll take ownership of your work, manage site activities and build customer relationships while working on bespoke engineering solutions. Willingness to travel extensively is essential. Expect to spend around 70 to 80% of your time away from home, including international travel, overnight stays and occasional short-notice trips. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, service and fault find specialist equipment and control systems.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical or controls related issues on customer sites.Plan and manage site visits, coordinating parts, logistics and customer requirements.Complete testing, service reports and project documentation.Build customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional service work, upgrades and spares.Maintain high safety standards when working ..... full job details .....
