Field Service Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a well-established engineering business specialising in materials handling solutions and equipment. They provide engineering, servicing and site-based support to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Mechanical Engineer to join their service and engineering team. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Field Service Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation on a remote and field-based basis. Ideally located within the Stoke-on-Trent or wider Midlands area, you will be responsible for travelling to customer sites across the UK to carry out planned servicing, site work and mechanical engineering activities. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Prior to attending site, you will prepare and submit accurate RAMS for approval and ensure you have the correct equipment, PPE and tooling required to complete the planned work. Following each visit, you will complete detailed and professional site reports outlining the work undertaken, together with any observations or recommendations for further action.
