Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Salary: £40,000 £50,000 + paid overtime + door-to-door pay Location: South of England, covering territory from Cornwall to Essex, with a particular focus on the counties south of Reading, including Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Wiltshire and Dorset. Candidates based anywhere across this southern region will be well placed to cover the role, with flexibility for UK-wide and occasional European travel as required. About the Role Our client is a leading distributor and engineering service provider, representing premium print finishing and packaging machinery manufacturers from continental Europe and the Far East. Due to sustained growth, they''re seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. You''ll bring strong mechanical expertise from the print finishing, carton converting, or packaging machinery sectors and, in return, receive comprehensive manufacturing and electrical training to develop into a fully multidisciplinary engineer. You''ll also join an established team covering neighbouring patches, so support and handover are already in place. The Machinery You''ll work across a premium, cutting-edge equipment portfolio, including industrial die-cutters, folder-gluers, rigid box-making machinery and digital embellishment presses; automated packaging lines, flow-wrappers, case-erectors and conveyor systems; and wide-format digital printers, guillotines and high-volume folding and binding systems.
