Field Service EngineerLocation: UK Wide / Field BasedSalary: 45,000 - 55,000 DOE + OvertimeWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Packaging Machinery Field Service Engineer to join an established and growing engineering business, covering customer sites throughout the UK.This is a specialist field-based opportunity for an engineer with proven experience working on packaging machinery and packaging automation. Due to the technical nature of the equipment, previous packaging machinery experience is essential.The RoleYou will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of automated packaging equipment at customer sites. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and commission packaging machinery and automated packaging systems.Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control-system faults.Attend customer breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.Fault-find on automated machinery, sensors, motors, drives and PLC-controlled systems.Carry out machine upgrades, modifications and improvements where required.Provide technical support and advice to customers.Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.Identify opportunities for spare parts, upgrades and additional service work.Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams.Travel extensively throughout the UK You should have:Proven experience as a Packaging Machinery Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service ..... full job details .....
