The role will mainly involve travelling within a radius of your home , with occasional travel further afield when required (a company van is provided). You will be responsible for installing, fault-finding, servicing and repairing compactors, balers and other specialist equipment, ensuring machines remain safe, reliable and operational. Key Responsibilities As a Field Service Engineer, you will: Carry out planned preventative maintenance on recycling and waste handling equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Replace faulty components using hand and power tools. Install, service and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and electronic systems.
