A great Field Service Engineer role, and unusually, we really want an accomplished and qualified Multi-skilled Engineer with an emphasis on mechanical engineering. We are the UK sales and service office of a major European manufacturer of end of line packaging machinery sold into the food, beverage and logistics / pallet markets. We are growing fast and investing in both new premises and recruitment. BASIC SALARY: up to £48,000 BENEFITS: Overtime to earn circa £60,000 Hybrid Company Car 10% Pension LOCATION: Home based and ideally living in the Midlands or North of England COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Stoke, Sheffield, Leicester JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer - mechanical engineering, packaging machinery A classic Field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end of line packaging machinery, plus mechanical inspection and writing up of reports on installed machines. You will also be required to offerspecialist mechanical support to the rest of the service team. You will be covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, and will be expected to spend 1 to 2 nights per week away from home plus working one weekend a month on average. Full training will be offered on the job and occasionally at HQ in Europe. Overtime is paid door to door.
