Field Service Engineer

A great Field Service Engineer role! We want to find an accomplished and qualified Multi-skilled Engineer who has specific experience of fault finding AND ideally, specifically of modifying and upgrading of Siemens PLC s (or similar) used in end of line packaging machinery. BASIC SALARY: up to £50,000 BENEFITS: Overtime to earn circa £65,000 Hybrid company car 10% Pension LOCATION: Home based and ideally living in the Midlands or North of England (although Midlands preferable) COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Stoke, Sheffield, Leicester JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer - Siemens PLCs, industrial capital equipment, packaging machinery A classic Field Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end of line packaging machinery including working with PLC s, ideally capable of fault finding, modifying and upgrading of Siemens PLC s, or similar. You will be covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, and will be expected to spend 2 to 3 nights per week away from home, plus working one weekend a month on average. Full training will be offered on the job and occasionally at HQ in Europe. Full training will also be provided on upgrading and modifying PLC s. Overtime is paid door to door.
