Field Service Engineer - UK Location: Home office base but commutable to their offices in the East Midlands Salary: £40,000 plus car Chemistry Laboratory Instrumentation organisation - electromechanical Our client is recognised as global experts in their field and supportcustomers within a wide range of industries from pharma/drug discovery, chemicals, automotive, food, pharmacy and academia. The Service Engineer is a key customer facing part of this approach. The role is field based but with 1 day a week in the office. It requires good interpersonal skills; a flexible approach and strong electromechanical skills with lab instrumentation: installation and commissioning instrumentation at customer sites training end-users and support in system set-up and optimisation Preventative maintenance, calibration and routine service Technical support and troubleshooting compiling method statements and risk assessments Identify and pass on potential leads to the Sales team About you: qualification and experience in maintenance, support and installing electro-mechanical based lab systems Ideally a knowledge of temperature control systems Good customer communication skills knowledge of PLC programming willingness to travel/overnight stays ..... full job details .....
