Field Service EngineerMaterials HandlingLocation: West YorkshireSalary: £34,320 increasing to £36,400 after probation + OvertimeHours: Full-Time (8:00am 4:30pm, Monday Friday)About the RoleWe are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established materials handling business in West Yorkshire.The company specialises in the sale, hire, and servicing of materials handling equipment and is currently experiencing a period of growth. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to add an experienced engineer to their team.In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of materials handling equipment at customer sites. You will primarily work on electric forklifts, alongside gas and diesel-powered equipment.This is a field-based, customer-facing role offering variety and autonomy, with no overnight stays required. You will be part of a supportive team with a genuine family feel and a strong working environment.Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair materials handling equipmentDiagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on forklifts and associated equipmentWork primarily on electric forklifts, alongside gas and diesel equipmentAttend customer sites to complete scheduled servicing and breakdown workComplete preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficientlyBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers while working on-siteComplete relevant service reports and ..... full job details .....
