Field Service EngineerForklift and Materials HandlingLocation: Croydon / South London / London NW / Surrounding Home CountiesSalary: £50,(Apply online only) DOE + Overtime + BenefitsHours: Full-Time 47.5 paid hours per week 06:00am 16:00pm, Monday Friday Additional overtime available, paid at 1.5xAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing specialist materials handling business.In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection, repair and commissioning of forklifts and other materials handling equipment at customer sites across South London, London NW and the surrounding Home Counties.You will play a key role in keeping customers'' operations moving, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and ensuring equipment is operating safely and reliably.This is a field-based, customer-facing position offering a high level of variety and autonomy, with the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a long-established, family-owned business.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections on forklifts and materials handling equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faultsCarry out repairs and replacement of faulty components safely and efficientlyCommission materials handling equipment at customer sitesIdentify repair requirements and minimise customer downtime wherever possibleRequest parts accurately using a tablet and keep ..... full job details .....
