Field Service Engineer Home Based - UK Wide + International Travel £40-48k + Company Car + Overtime Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of industrial automation and packaging machinery. This Field Service Engineer role will suit an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer who enjoys fault finding and working on customer sites across a range of manufacturing environments. The successful Field Service Engineer can live anywhere in the UK. Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include Carrying out service, maintenance and fault finding on automated machinery across FMCG, food and automotive environments Performing testing and diagnostics to ensure equipment is fully operational before handover Delivering training to customers on operation and basic maintenance of machinery Completing preventative maintenance activities and installing retrofit upgrades Acting as the on-site representative of the business, building strong working relationships with customers Identifying opportunities for improvements, spare parts and ongoing service support This role involves significant travel around 95% of your time will be spent away from home, with approximately 75% of site work within the UK and the remainder overseas. The ideal Field Service Engineer will have Electrically biased but multi-skilled or mechatronics background; including controls, drives and fault finding Experience within manufacturing environments ..... full job details .....
