Field Service EngineerLocation: OxfordSalary: £34,000 £36,000 overtimeBenefits: Company van, bonus, early finish FridaysThe RoleWe''re recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business in a hands-on role involving equipment maintenance, repairs and testing.You''ll visit customer sites across the UK and Ireland, with regular overnight stays and occasional overseas travel. You''ll also support equipment assembly and testing at the Oxfordshire workshop.Ideal for someone from a mechanical, plant, HGV, vehicle maintenance or ex-forces background.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain and repair equipment.Diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance.Work with pneumatics, basic hydraulics, filters and calibration.Complete equipment testing and inspections.Support workshop assembly and pre-delivery checks.What You''ll NeedMechanical engineering or maintenance experience.Practical fault-finding and repair skills.Willingness to travel and stay away regularly.Comfortable with confined-space work and tank inspections.Willingness to complete medical assessments, training and DBS checks.Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer is beneficial, but transferable mechanical experience will be considered.Salary and Benefits£34k £36k, depending on experience.Overtime paid at 1.5x.Company van monthly attendance/tool bonus.Monday Friday.Early finish every Friday.23 days'' holiday bank holidays.Company pension.Payment for overnight stays.Interested in ..... full job details .....
