Field Service Engineer

An established and growing power generation and engineering business is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its South Coast operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with mechanical, electrical, diesel engine, plant, or generator experience to work on a varied fleet of equipment while supporting a diverse customer base. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing generators and associated equipment across customer sites and company locations. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues Carry out engine, electrical, and mechanical repairs Replace faulty components and assemblies Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance Conduct control panel modifications and adjustments Liaise with customers, providing updates and technical support Participate in an on-call rota for breakdown support (1 week in 5) Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures Maintain high standards of housekeeping and vehicle care Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality standards About You You will ideally hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, Plant Engineering, or a related discipline.
