      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: 30000.00-30000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Field Service Engineer Location: IpswichSalary: £30,000 to £50,000 Base salary (depending on experience)Company benefits: Included a company car and company pension. Overview The role is a split position focused on the installation and commissioning of converting machinery. Candidates are required to live within commuting distance of Ipswich as 50% of the role will be in the field, on customer site (internationally and domestically) with the other 50% being based in the Ipswich workshop. Main Responsibilities  Installation and commissioning of slitting and rewinding equipment at customer sites. Preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime. Providing technical support remotely and on-site. Training customer operators. Coordinating with the spare parts function. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Completing service documentation and reports. Working in accordance with health and safety procedures  Candidate Requirements:  Working experience, diploma, or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
