Field Service Engineer

Our client is on the lookout for Field Service Engineers and Technicians to join them on a permanent basis. This will be a remote role, but with a fair amount of time spent on site, so you will need to live within a commutable distance to their site near Dundee. The Field Service Engineers will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and warranty repairs along with commissioning activities on energy storage units at various BESS sites. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Essential requirements: Working experience with BESS with working knowledge of HV/LV power electronics including inverters / converters / Transformers (is highly desirable) but experience with utility scale solar will also be considered. Qualification in an electrical / electro-mechanical discipline Previous electrical or multi skilled maintenance experience Full UK drivers license (preferred) Basic IT skills (Word Processing, Outlook, Excel, IP and software for troubleshooting) Qualification of working on Site safely Desirable requirements: Previous HVAC training and F-Gas qualification Strong understanding of IT related subjects, CMD, remote desktop connections, networking (subnet, VLANs, static IP/DHCP), MODBUS/TCP protocols CandG2391-5 Test and Inspect or equivalent Familiar with SANS (phone number removed) standard HV authorised person Full UK Drivers Licence JOB DESCRIPTION Maintain Energy Storage Systems to a high standard by carrying out regular inspection and maintenance, annual capacity ..... full job details .....
