Field service engineer- power generation

We’re looking for a Field Service Technician (Power Generators) to join our team in Sutton.

Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment including servicing, systematic fault finding and repairs.

Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks on equipment.

Responsible for procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.

To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics

Assisting with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment.

Qualifications

Qualified / Part-Qualified Mechanic and or Electrician

Experience of working with generators or in Power plant environment

The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation

Ability to work autonomously when required with the ability to coach and mentor

Good organisational and communication skills

Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
