Job Title: Field Service Engineer- Field Service Engineer - Forklift TrucksLocation: Birmingham and the West MidlandsSalary: Up to £37,000 + Bonus + OTBenefits: Company van, overtime, bonus, pension, health cash plan and life assuranceContract: Permanent Full-timeAn established UK materials-handling business is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support its customers across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with forklift truck or materials-handling equipment experience to join a respected business offering a competitive package, ongoing training and long-term career stabilityThe RoleWorking from home and travelling to customer sites throughout the region, you will service, maintain and repair a range of forklift trucks and associated materials-handling equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.Completing breakdown repairs and returning equipment to service efficiently.Working on both customer-owned and company-owned machinery.Communicating repair requirements and completion times clearly to customers.Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.Accurately completing service reports and supporting documentation.Managing your workload independently across an assigned geographical area.Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and internal service teams.About YouTo be ..... full job details .....
