Field Service EngineerNorth Birmingham£30,000 - £35,000 + Company Vehicle + Laptop + Mobile Phone A leading supplier of industrial fluid management solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team covering customers across the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong customer-facing skills who enjoys working independently and building long-term relationships with customers. The role offers a varied workload, combining technical service, preventative maintenance, fluid management, and customer support. The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers using metalworking fluids and associated equipment, ensuring optimum performance and service levels across customer sites. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out onsite coolant checks and condition monitoring. Servicing and maintaining a range of industrial equipment. Supporting machine tool cleanout projects. Managing and monitoring cutting fluid trials. Assisting with CNC air-filter installations when required. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Recording customer visits, service activities, and recommendations. Working closely with sales and technical teams to deliver customer solutions. Occasional overnight travel (typically 0-3 nights per month).
