Field Service Engineer

We are currently working with a leading organisation within the power distribution sector to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working on-site, delivering high-quality service, and being part of a dynamic and growing team.As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of high voltage equipment across various customer sites. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a field-based environment and is comfortable travelling as part of their role.Key Responsibilities: Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of high voltage equipmentPerform routine maintenance and emergency fault finding on customer sitesDiagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise downtimeEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards and industry regulationsProvide technical support and guidance to clients when requiredComplete detailed service reports and documentation The Ideal Candidate Proven experience working with high voltage equipment (essential)Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently on-site and manage workload effectivelyFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel and stay overnight when requiredProactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethicComfortable working in a field-based roleExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused ..... full job details .....
