      <description>Location: Bromborough | Salary: &amp;pound;50000/annum | Type: Permanent | About the Role   Field Service Engineer    Locations:  Bromborough, Manchester, Birmingham and Lincolnshire.  Reporting to:  Equipment Operations Manager  Department:  Equipment   About the Role   We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to help maintain Panda’s fleet of more than 600 items of recycling and waste-handling equipment located at customer sites across the UK.  Working primarily within a three-hour radius of your home, you will install, service and repair compactors, balers and other specialist equipment, ensuring it remains safe, efficient and available for our customers. Some UK-wide travel will also be required when needed.   What You’ll Be Doing   As a Field Service Engineer, you will:  	 Complete planned preventive maintenance on recycling and waste-handling equipment 	 Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults 	 Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate hand and power tools 	 Install and repair electrical wiring, electronic components and hydraulic systems 	 Reassemble and test equipment to confirm it is safe and operating correctly 	 Assist with machinery installations, including three-phase electrical connections 	 Provi...</description>
