Field Service Engineer

Job Title: Field Service EngineerLocation: UK-based with international travelTravel: Majority overseasWe re currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business supporting projects on a global scale. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working on-site, commissioning equipment, and seeing projects through from installation to final handover. The position involves significant international travel and will play a key role in ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operating as intended across customer sites worldwide.As a Field Service and Commissioning Engineer, you will:Carry out on-site commissioning activities across international customer sitesPerform device setup, I/O checks, and software fault findingSupport installation, testing, and final system handoverWork from and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and process drawingsFollow structured test procedures and complete documented testingCarry out device calibration and system validationIdentify and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and process systemsWork closely with internal engineering teams and customer representativesWe re looking for a Field Service Engineer with strong commissioning and fault-finding experience: You will ideally have:Experience in commissioning or field service engineering within the process engineering industry Strong understanding of process engineering principlesExperience with device setup, I/O checks, and software fault ..... full job details .....
