Field Service Engineer - Marine ElectronicsLocation: Home-based (UK), with UK and international travelSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of marine electronic systems across a diverse fleet of customer vessels. This is a home-based, remote role requiring regular travel within the UK and occasional overseas assignments.You will work on a wide range of marine and offshore platforms, delivering high-quality technical support both onboard vessels and within workshop environments.Key Responsibilities of Field Service EngineerService, repair, and maintain marine electronic equipment on customer vessels, offshore installations, and in workshop facilities.Work on a broad range of systems including:X and S Band RadarsVHF, MF/HF Radio CommunicationsSatellite Communications (VSAT, SAT-C, Iridium)GPS Navigation SystemsECDISVoyage Data Recorders (VDR)Carry out vessel surveys and inspections, including Radio Surveys and VDR Annual Performance Tests (training provided where required).Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.Work outdoors and at height when required, adhering to all safety procedures.Provide technical support during occasional weekend or out-of-hours work, on an ad-hoc basis.Undertake additional duties as required as the business continues to grow and evolve.Skills, Experience and Qualifications of Field Service ..... full job details .....
