Field Service Engineer (Machine Tool Automation+ Robotics)

We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer (Robotics /Automation Engineer) for a market leading business within the Automation Industry who provide support across a range of manufacturing clients within the Aerospace and Automotive sectors to help improve productivity. This is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an Automation maintenance based role within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with CNC Machine tools, Beckhoff / Siemens PLCS and FANUC/Kuka/ ABB Robotics would be highly advantageous. This is a Days based role Monday Friday + No Call Out All travel time is paid door to door + all addtional hours paid at premium rates - Realistic Earnings up to £50k The role will cover sites mainly in the Midlands / NW but also some across the UK so a willingness to travel is required. This role would ideally suit a candidate with a maintenance background looking to develop and progress within the controls/ automation industry. Role Description Provide support to client sites across the UK and Ireland. Support Customer s automation systems to aid in improving productivity. To support the introduction of new projects on time and within budget constraints Fault finding and rectification of PLC s Beckhoff/ Siemens Experience working with Robotics ABB, Fanuc, Kuka or similar.
