Field Service Engineer

About youWe''re looking for an experienced engineer with a background in digital printing, industrial inkjet technology or specialist printing equipment.Ideally, you''ll already be working for a print equipment manufacturer or supplier, supporting customers with installations, servicing, maintenance and technical issues.You''ll be comfortable with both the engineering and software side of the equipment, and you''ll enjoy working directly with customers to get problems resolved.We''re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience across production inkjet presses, digital printing machinery, coding and marking equipment or similar technology.You''ll also need to be happy travelling, as this role involves regular visits to customers across the UK and mainland Europe.Your experienceYou''ll have a solid electro-mechanical engineering background, ideally with an HNC, degree or equivalent qualification.We''re looking for someone who understands how printing equipment works, can diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and is equally comfortable investigating software and application issues.You''ll be confident using Windows operating systems, providing remote technical support and working through problems with customers and other engineers.Experience installing equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and delivering customer training would be particularly useful.Whilst printing and inkjet experience is our preference, we''d also consider someone from a ..... full job details .....
