IT Field Service EngineerLocation: Lockington, Derbyshire Contract: 6-month contract with the opportunity to go permanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Field Service Engineer to support internal users across a geographically dispersed group of sites. You will be responsible for maintaining computer systems and networks, installing and configuring equipment, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and resolving technical issues both remotely and in person. This is a customer-facing field role, requiring regular travel between sites and a proactive approach to delivering excellent IT support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide field-based IT support across multiple sites, covering desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, applications and meeting room equipment.Build strong relationships with internal customers, proactively identifying issues and opportunities for service improvement.Install, configure and maintain hardware, software and workplace technology.Troubleshoot hardware, software, application and network issues, resolving incidents within agreed SLAs.Monitor systems and networks to identify potential problems and take appropriate action.Support the rollout of new applications, equipment and sites, as well as site decommissioning.Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure incidents are followed through to resolution.Assist with more complex technical tasks, including cabling and equipment replacement.Work collaboratively with IT colleagues and ..... full job details .....
