Field Service Engineer

Location: Covering South East 
Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic + OTE + Company Car

The Role

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of automated storage at customer sites. You will take a proactive approach to machine performance, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding, mainly electrical
• Provide a high quality of customer service in accordance with established policy.
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Accurately report on a visit-by-visit basis via appropriate documentation/call tracker in a timely manner.
• Work with minimum supervision, always maintaining appropriate communication.
• To aid and assist fellow workers as and when required.
• Ensure that all personal PPE is maintained as required and inspected at required intervals.
• Work within agreed quality and health and safety standards

Requirements

• Electrical/electronic quals essential, nvq, c&g, btec
• Industrial background is essential (Manf, engineering, production)
• Must have worked on 3 phase motors, 415v, testing a cpu
• Basic mechanical principles are desirable

Package

• Salary £36,000 - £40,000 base
• OTE £50,000 +
• Car, iPhone, Laptop, Tools
• Overtime / Door to door, Time and ½
• Annual bonus scheme (Roughly 10%, company performance based)
