Field Service Engineer

Your new company A large, well-established company which specialises in utilities, civil engineering and infrastructure is looking for a number of Field Service Engineers to work on electric vehicle chargers across commercial and industrial settings throughout Northern Ireland.Your new role This role is responsible for the maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, testing, and commissioning of electric vehicle chargers and associated equipment across commercial and industrial settings. The position supports both reactive and planned works, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality electrical service delivery. Experience with EV charging infrastructure would be beneficial but is not essential.This is an opportunity to join a new division, help shape the service operation, and contribute to building a high-performing team from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out reactive call-outs and preventive maintenance; to comprise fault diagnosis, testing, component replacement, and repair across a range of electrical systems and equipment.Perform electrical testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, loop/Ze testing, and verification, while following safe isolation and lockout/tag out procedures.Investigate and troubleshoot electrical and control-related faults using diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and service documentation.Support commissioning activities for new installations, including inspection, testing, documentation, and handover.What you''ll need to succeed ..... full job details .....
